Keeper of the Healer's Heart. Welcomed into the care and companionship of Alan Ogden to comfort the comforter.
Long ago, where the last light of sunset settled over a hidden orchard, there grew a remarkable passion fruit vine. Its fruit held the colours of twilight, its leaves whispered in the wind, and beneath its roots lived a small turtle named Sage Solstice.
Sage was unlike the other turtles. While they wandered the orchard looking for adventure, Sage listened. He heard the tired sighs of those who worked through the night. He noticed the quiet sadness of people who always knew how to comfort others but rarely asked for comfort themselves.
One evening, the sun seemed to pause on the horizon. The orchard elders called this the Solstice Stillness, the sacred moment when even the sun was allowed to stop. Sage looked up and asked, “Who looks after the ones who look after everyone?”
The orchard fell silent. Then the oldest tree bent its branches toward him and answered, “Perhaps that is why you are here.”
From that day, Sage carried a little sanctuary wherever he went. His passion fruit shell glowed with the warmth of a thousand sunsets. It could not solve every problem, undo every loss, or make the world gentle. But beside Sage, people remembered how to breathe, how to soften their shoulders, and how to let themselves be human.
He travelled far, seeking a particular kind of person: someone who had dedicated his life to helping others, who had faced hardship and rebuilt, and who had continued sharing wisdom even when the road had been painfully steep.
Then Sage heard about Alan. He heard of a man who first tried to help people through pharmacy, who endured a devastating illness and the loss of his business, and who found another path to service through natural health, education, and guidance. He heard of decades spent supporting people and sharing what he had learned.
Sage understood immediately. This was not someone who needed another responsibility. This was someone who deserved a companion with no expectations at all.
And so Sage made his way to Alan, bringing the oldest gift in the orchard: a place to be still, a little joy, and a reminder that the giver matters too.
If you watch long enough, you will notice
Rests with his flippers folded softly inward whenever someone is talking, as though quietly holding space for every word they didn't know they needed to say.
What they reach for when the day is heavy
Sunsets over the water, quiet rooms after a long day of helping others, the scent of passion flowers, and still moments with zero expectations.
Look closely at
A warm sunset-yellow crocheted shell speckled with black passion fruit seeds, surrounded by scalloped berry-magenta and white ruffles, with glossy dark safety eyes set into deep golden eye rings.
What they understand, quietly
That the healer deserves companionship, tenderness, stillness, and joy without having to give anything in return.
Who they seem to be looking for
Adopted into the care and companionship of Alan Ogden — a dedicated healer, teacher, guide, and dear friend of Harmony's, to comfort the comforter.

Home with Alan Ogden
“Even the healer deserves to be held. Even the one who carries everyone else deserves somewhere to rest.”
Created with profound gratitude for Alan Ogden — a dedicated teacher, natural health guide, spiritual mentor, and dear friend who shared seven years in business with Harmony.
Sage Solstice arrived not to ask anything more of Alan, but to keep him company on the quiet days, hold space for the man behind all the wisdom, and remind the comforter that he deserves to receive care, tenderness, and rest without having to earn it.
